This nice website has introduced some "easy to read" books on B1 level. There are 4 books with stories about some interesting topics:
-Klimaatverandering
-Kolonialisme
-Vrouwenrechten
-Migratie
It is called "De Change-serie" for people who want to see changes in the world.
These books are interesting because they are easy to read and on B1 level.
I use them in my sessions with people who are improving their Dutch language skills to B1 level.
