I think that it is important for people, adults as well as children, that when they are learning a language that they try to start reading books and keep reading. This way they of course expand their Dutch vocabulary but they also see ,again and again, the grammar and other things we practised together.
On the website 'Lezen voor iedereen' you can find all kinds of books to read. Books from level A1 - B2, short stories and longer stories.
So even if you don't have a lot of spare time you can start reading short stories AND KEEP READING!
There are quite a lot of nice short storybooks available on the website.
If you go to your local library you will probably find quite a lot of these books there available in the 'Dutch language' section!
