Around 12 years ago I met a beautiful Mexican woman, Janet. We got married in 2014. Janet immediately started practising Dutch because she wanted to live and work in The Netherlands and because she would have to pass the Dutch integration exam within 3 years . Learning the Dutch language is not an easy undertaking for most people.
There were not many possibilities to practise Dutch in the area where we lived. In The Netherlands the idea was and is that every person can study by him/herself and prepare for the integration exam. Across the border in Belgium there were special language classes in groups of around 20 people. These people all had different levels of English and Dutch, of course. Then I got the idea that the only way to learn the Dutch language for people in this situation is to practise individually.
That is why I started Marcel Beunen Persoonlijke Begeleiding / Dutch language training in 2017.
